Is a printed Elegant Affairs catalogue available?
  Sorry, printed catalogues are not available.
How can I find a specific product?
  Here are some easy ways to find products in our catalogue:
  • Use the menu on the left side of your screen to browse through our catalogue.
• Type words that describe the product you want to see in the search box on the upper right hand side, then click "go". When searching the catalogue, try to avoid using plurals - "garter" will show you more products than "garters".
How do I place an order?
  When you find a product you like, click the on the small image to view more details about the product. For many products you will be given a choice of colors or styles to allow you to customize these quality products for your wedding.

Once you have selected the appropriate options, click the “buy” button to add the item to your shopping cart. This will automatically place that item in your shopping cart while you continue to shop.

You can view your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the shopping cart icon located at the top of the page or by clicking the "view cart" link located beside the shopping cart icon. When you view your cart you can change product amounts or remove products from your cart.

Once you are finished your shopping click on the "CHECKOUT" button. This will take you to enter your payment option and shipping options. All Credit Card transactions are processed through Paypal. Paypal is dedicated to providing secure online transactions. Money Order are not shipped until funds have cleared.

After you enter your payment option and shipping information, you will be sent to make your payment depending on what payment option you have chosen. Once your order is received, you'll receive a confirmation e-mail that contains your order details.

You order will be shipped directly from the store, or from the manufacturer depending on product availability.

How do I pay for my order?
 

We are happy to accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express (via Paypal). All Credit Card information is processed online. We do not keep you credit card number on file. Every transaction is 100% safe and protected from interception and tampering using Paypal's secure web site. You do not need a paypal account to use paypal with your Credit Card.

We also now accept Email Money Transfers . For info on Interac Email Money Transfer Click Here.

You can also pay by mail with a Money Order. Your order will not be processed until your payment has been received. This may delay your shipment. No COD orders will be accepted. If you have any questions about payment options, contact customer service at (905) 459-9453.

Can I place an order over the telephone?
 

Yes, to place an order by telephone call (905) 459-9453 and ask for Customer Service.

Is there a minimum order?
 

Yes. Any order must be a minimum of $10.00

What additional costs will be added to my order?
 

Orders totaling less than $50.00 will be charged a $5.00 processing fee.

Sales taxes will be applied as stipulated by provincial laws that govern our location.

Due to high temperatures during the summer months, there will be no guarantee on any candles or chocolate candies shipped regular ground by courier or mail. If you order these items between May 1st and September 30th you may be required to pay extra shipping charges to have them shipped by air to your destination.

Back Orders
 

Items less than $25 that are temporarily out of stock will generally be cancelled rather than back ordered. Items greater than $25 that are temporarily out of stock will be back ordered. Back orders may be subject to shipping charges.

Where will my order be shipped from?
 

Depending on product availability, orders will be sent from ElegantAffairs.ca or directly from the manufacturer.

When can I expect my order?
 

Orders are generally shipped within 48 hours via Purolator or UPS. You can expect to receive your shipment within 14 business days from time of ordering.

Custom Orders (Engraving/Embroidering)
 

Engraving charges vary between $7.50 and $10.00 per item. Prices listed are for blank products. Please call for a quote (905) 459-9453.

Can merchandise be returned?
 

To ensure your satisfaction, all of our merchandise is fully guaranteed. If you are not completely satisfied with any item, call customer service to arrange an exchange or return within 30 days of the date of shipment. No returns will be accepted without authorization from us, and they may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Credit for the return will apply only to the purchase price of the product. Shipping and processing charges will not be refunded. You will be responsible for paying freight on all items returned through no fault of our company. If items returned are received by our company damaged or broken, no credit will be given. Any item that is made to order (custom) is not returnable.

*IMPORTANT
No returns on opened products, food/candy items or colored decorations such as tissue bells, streamers, candles, etc.

NOTE: Colors vary slightly due to the manufacturing process specific to each product. Although it is impossible to achieve an exact color match for every item, small variations in color serve to enhance the overall effect of your color scheme. Products seen on the online catalogue do not always represent an identical color match. Color reproduction is limited by various situations beyond our control such as the hue/contrast settings on your monitor.
